Tip #1 on Improving Your Summer photography

Good weather is finally here and the cameras are starting to come out. Here's a tip on improving your photographs:

Get down on their level.

Hold your camera at the subject’s eye level to capture the power of those magnetic gazes and mesmerising smiles. For kids and pets that means getting down on their level to take the picture. They don’t have to look directly into the camera, the eye level angle by itself will create a personal and inviting feeling.

Daylight Savings

Time to check those cameras and make sure Daylight savings is turned off and go ahead and set it manually. Make sure all your cameras are set the same to ensure files go where they belong.

Nature Photography course

This past weekend I took part in photography course that focused on nature. The course was given by published New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association (NHPPA) member John Gill. John had been NHPPA's photographer of the Year twice. After the course I had a better understanding as to how different nature photography can be.

Photo Tip: You don't need to travel far from your home to get great photographs. Find your nitch ie; trees, old cars, and photography them in all types of light.
