Corey Stone wins 2008 NE Bodybuilding

Today Cory Stone, a personal trainer at Gold's Gym in Concord, NH, won his middle heavy weight bodybuilding class & the overall competition at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. I have watched Cory train others at Gold's Gym and it is obvious that he is very serious & passionate about what he does for himself and others. Dave Follansbee owner Nutrition 101 told me he has organized this and several other events through out the year to promote all natural bodybuilding. Hope you enjoy the slideshow below. Feel free to leave a comment.

PHOTO TIP: These shots were taken with a Canon 5D w/a f2.8 70-200 lense from the 20th row back. I used the 580EXII flash on just a few of the shots. The rest were just the stage lights.

Emily & Hakim

On July 5th Emily & Hakim exchanged wedding vows at Whites Park in Concord, NH in front of 75 friends and relatives. The day was perfect. Both of them were very easy to work with and had ideas of their own. Even Dan from Grace Limousine helped with set ups. The slide show below will tell it all. Aislinn Palardy's Baptism

Aislinn Ada-Regina Palardy was accompanied by her parents, grandparents and friends as she was Baptised at Trinity Lutheran Church in Keene, NH. As I photographed the event I could tell that she would never want for love and affection. I hope you enjoy the slideshow of this event as much as I did photographing it. For more of Aislinn click here.

NH Pro Photography competition

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to be able to attend the NH Professional Photographers Asso convention in North Conway. There were a number of key speakers from all over the country providing their professional insight. After several agonizing days of photography selection and choosing names I was ready to enter the Print Competition. I choose five 16"x20" photographs to enter and hoped for at least a score of 70. LustreColor prepared the print competition pieces. I was indeed blessed to have 6 judges check 12 areas of the work award 2 red & 3 blue ribbons!! Check them out and add a comment to let me know what you think.

TIP: If you want to develope your craft without spending big bucks on a college degree, join a local photography or art association.

Boston Flower Show

My wife and I attended the Boston Flower Show a while ago. It had been something that we wanted to do for some time. I wish I could say it was great but... The entry fee was $20 each & parking for $12. We should have went out to dinner instead. We weren't the only ones dissappointed with this event. In talking with one of the vendors it seems that it has been losing steam for several years now. I hope to publish some photos soon.
